    St. Mark's Anglican Church

The cemetery around the church goes back to the late 1700's and the church itself was in the centre of the action during the war of 1812. It's beautifully kept, as are the grounds.

The building is located in the historic village of Queenston, which is along the Niagara Parkway between Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake. The museum is housed in the 1800’s former home of publisher William Lyon Mackenzie. Here you’ll find old printing equipment that has been lovingly restored.

    Ginger Restaurant

A top notch asian restaurant. It's family run and very friendly. The food is superb and very reasonable for how good it is.

I love places that change their dishes with the seasons and what is available from the local farms and producers. The list of the local suppliers is on the back of the menu which is a nice touch.

It's a popular bake shop and for a good reason. The pastries are superb, as is the coffee and service. I recommend the crepes for breakfast.
