1 or 2 night Camel trek in the Merzouga Desert:

These trips begin in the evening. We organise the camel ride from a hotel near the sand dunes. The camels will be packed with foods, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right into the desert for an hour and a half. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp we walk to the high dunes to see the sunset. It will be a magical night when the sky is clear of cover and stars sparkle and shine with intensity. During the night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire, and we will spend the night in nomad tents.

If you have booked a 1 night trip, the next morning we will ride the camel back to Merzouga after the sunrise, to breakfast and shower in the hotel.

If you have booked a 2 night trip, the next day in the morning after the breakfast in the camp we will ride the camels to visit and lunch with nomad peoples. After, we will ride the camels back to the camp, and leave the camels to take the sand broads and walk to the high dunes. We will visit a oasis into the dunes & walk back to the camp after the sunset. The next day in morning we will ride the camels back to Merzouga after the sunrise, to have breakfast and shower in the hotel.

Sunset And Sunrise in the Merzouga Desert:

The Sunset tour begins around 5:30pm. It takes almost half an hour to reach the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi on top a camel. Then, we will leave the camels to reach the highest dune of Merzouga. For those who want to see a panoramic view they must climb to the top, which will take10 minutes. If you prefer not to hike up the highest dunes, the area around the camel "parking" is perfect to watch the sunset. After having enjoying that short time we travel back to the village. This tour includes a stop at the garden where you will have a short explanation about the canal system.

The Sunrise Tour starts early and takes 35 minutes to reach the highest dune of Merzouga. This tour included a visit to the garden on the way back. For this tour you don't need to set the alarm clock. Enjoy your night and we will come around for a wake-up call.

Atlas Mountains was my favorite part of Morocco. The trek was really well organized and a great adventure. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the cook made the best food I have had in Morocco.

Definitely recommended. The gardens are peaceful and wonderful with lovely walks. There's also a nice cafe and museum within the grounds.

Lovely old three level house with an exhibition of over 8000 photographs. The collection is only about Morocco and covers the period 1870 to 1950.

The kitchen food is 100% natural and fresh from the garden. The chefs are few specialists with typical local dishes.

The views from this amazing Kasbah are incredible with Mount Toubkal in the distance. The food is excellent, service was great, highly recommend.

Amazing place - so happy that I found it - have been back several times. The food is delicious and the service is very professional. Live music and dancers for entertainment.

This is a center/restaurant for the training, healing and rehabilitation of disadvantaged women. The property itself is really cool with nice decor and also lovely garden area to dine in. The food and service is exceptional, the ladies are very friendly and there is a good range of daily dishes on the chalk board.

    Visit Marrakech Souk

A busy, noisy market located in the heart of the Medina. The stall owners will try and sell you everything, especially if you linger too long outside their stall. If you do want to buy then haggle (honestly they're disappointed if you don't!) Start with 30% of what they quote.

    Erg Chebbi

Merzouga is on the edge of Erg Chebbi, one of Morocco's two Saharan ergs – large seas of dunes formed by wind-blown sand,
The dunes of Erg Chebbi reach a height of up to 150 meters in places and altogether spans an area of 50 kilometers from north to south and up to 5-10 kilometers from east to west lining the Algerian border.

During the warmest part of the year, Moroccans come to Erg Chebbi to be buried neck-deep in the hot sand for a few minutes at a time. This is considered to be a treatment for rheumatism.
