A fascinating piece of History. Amazing work is being done in updating the old palace. It's nice to know that the entry fee is contributing to the improvement of this historical gem.

Cheeta's rock is definitely a once in a lifetime experience. There aren't many places on earth where you can get close up with wild animals that aren't de-clawed and sedated. Cheeta's rock is one of them. It's obvious that the staff really care for these animals.

This is not just a zoo, it's a great day out. The gardens and surroundings are as much of an attraction as the animals. The swimming pool and play areas are great fun for the kids. There is also horse riding and camel rides.

This is a great place to bring your kids for a water day with slides and waves and a range of pools. It's a somewhat long drive from the central business district, along Bagamoyo road, but its worth it.

I had a nice meal at this roof terrace restaurant. Simple and good food with great service. Looking out over the rooftops of town with the cool breeze, perfect.

It has a great view, and the service is very good. Very relaxed atmosphere. It serves an excellent five course dinner every night, except Mondays, at 6.30 PM. Limited seats, so booking is essential.

This is a beautiful restaurant. The decor is very chic and the view is unbeatable. The food is really very good with a wide range on the menu. The service is top notch and atmosphere is relaxed.

The place is great, top floor club with an incredible view of the city and Indian Ocean. The food is not sophisticated but still very good.

What a great find off the beaten track. Lovely food and very friendly service. The seafood is amazing. I highly recommend hunting this place out.

    Get out to Nakupenda Beach

Stunning beaches, turquoise sea and colored starfishes. You can take a private boat instead of an organized tour and pack your own picnic basket.

Go hiking in the Udzungwa Mountains National Park

There are many walks through the park but the best is the the hike to the Sanje Waterfall. It is fairly strenuous but well worth it. There are lots of birds and monkeys to see along the way.
