An interactive, evolving museum in Inverness/Loch Ness with nautical artefacts & large ships: e.g. 1:10 scale Titanic, Buckie drifter, RNLI lifeboat & more..

Though only the grounds are open to the public, take a walk around this stunning castle and soak in the history and beauty of the place. made of red sandstone, it was built in 1836 on top of an 11th century defensive structure. The castle itself now houses Inverness Sheriff Court.

We took many lovely walks along the banks of this beautiful river. At night coloured lights illuminate the area and gives it a very romantic feel.

We were told this was something completely different - and it was, in a good way. The owner, Stan has made almost everything by hand and there is plenty of interesting information about the Titanic. The attraction itself was opened on the 100 year anniversary of the sinking of the ship.

    Blend Tea & Coffee Merchants

We stopped in here for a light lunch and were delighted by the range of coffee, tea and eats available. The mint tea is delicious and we bought some of their coffee beans to take away for ourselves. Yum!

A small, family restaurant, we couldn't have asked for much better! Overlooking the River Ness, we had a great meal with superb views. Very friendly staff who were entertaining and very down to earth.

Though a smaller menu, we still had a tough time deciding what to get - it all looked so good! When they arrived, our food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The building used to be a church and has a very warm, open atmosphere. Highly recommend.
