    Dyfi Furnace

This is Britain's best preserved charcoal burning furnaces and it's waterwheel which has been restored to working order.

Spend the day learning about energy and how to save it! 7 acres of beautiful organic gardens, children's playground and wholefoods restaurant.

A breathtakingly beautiful castle. The gardens are laid out under the influence of Italian and French styles and it retains its original lead statues and an orangery on the terraces. Highly recommend.

At 240ft (80m) high it is the UK tallest waterfall. There is a tiny little tearoom at the bottom where you can have a cuppa and listening to the gentle hiss of the falling water.

    Elan Valley

Part of the rugged Cambrian Mountains, Elan is a beautiful and unspoilt area with many man made dams and reservoirs. There's a visitors centre, cafe and children's play park as well as beautiful walks and woodland.
