This beautiful little church in a spectacular setting looking out into the Atlantic Ocean is a favorite place of mine. I don't go often, but when I do i feel a great sense of peace.

    First Families Kennebunkport Museum

This is a beautiful 1853 Greek Revival home, full of amazing furnishings and artifacts. There are a number of items donated by former President George Bush and his family, who reside in Kennebunkport in the summer. The lady that takes the tours is so nice and knowledgeable, and for $10 the tours are affordable too.

Even if you're not religious, this is a beautiful, historic, peaceful place to wander and explore. the grounds are well maintained and there are a number of intricate shrines to see while walking the trails around the area.

This is a beautiful beach (to be honest, they all are around here) and we had a great afternoon lazing about and having a swim, perfect after the wonderful cupcakes we had!

Set in a lovely old building, we had afternoon tea here and loved it! As well as great coffee, the muffins and cupcakes were absolutely delicious. Just like many other places here, everything is made fresh daily from locally sourced, natural products.

Real, fresh, lobster roll. Overflowing with lobster! This place is a great little venture, operating from an old truck. The seafood is caught by 70 local fishermen, providing lobsters, clams, shrimp, haddock and swordfish. Yum!

The rustic decor in here is absolutely stunning. Just beautiful! Words cannot describe how well the pace has been decorated and presented. It gets better - the onsite organic gardens provide many of their produce, all other foods are sourced from local vendors.
